This event was re-scheduled to December 2019 and rebranded as the “Winter School”
The Outcome Mapping Learning Community is delighted to announce the OMLC Summer School: Outcome-based approaches for effective monitoring, evaluation and learning in complex change processes. The content will be accessible to beginners in Outcome Mapping but is designed to also extend those with experience in it.
The Summer School will be in Brussels, Belgium from 2-5 July, 2019. The 4-day event will take a deep dive into the principles of Outcome Mapping and Outcome Harvesting by combining grounded theory with practical case studies and group discussion. Participants will complete the programme with an understanding of OM and OH, their relevance in complex change processes, how to use them appropriately in their own contexts, and how to adapt them for use with other aligned approaches.
The OMLC has run five open events in the last five years in Dar es Salaam, Brussels, Toronto, Bangkok and Nairobi. The Summer School is our main event for 2019 and we're introducing some new ideas including a more integrated approach to training OM, OH and outcome-based approaches in general. The Summer School will be led by members of the OMLC Stewards including: Kaia Ambrose, Steff Deprez, Goele Scheers, Simon Hearn. There will also be invited guests speakers.
Registration will open next week on 28 March. Early-bird registration will be EUR 950 (available until 5 May, 2019).
